Oakland, CA

Oakland is the trade center of the Bay Area and economic hub of the East Bay. Alameda, CA

Alameda is located just across the estuary from Oakland and is growing into one of the Life Science pockets of the Bay Area. Alameda currently has over 3,500,000 square feet of office and flex space with a high density of the office space located in Marina Village, Alameda Point, Harbor Bay, and Park St. The island is a 6-minute drive from the major interstates, accessed by ferry, and many of the local office parks offer private shuttle service from BART. Emeryville, CA

Emeryville sits between Oakland and Berkeley and is located 10 miles from Downtown San Francisco. Emeryville currently has just over 4,700,000 SF of office and flex space and is one of the Life Science hubs of the Bay Area. Interstate 80 runs through Emeryville, making it an easy destination for commuters by car. The City of Emeryville runs a free BART shuttle from the MacArthur BART station called the Emery-Go-Round which has two routes with 41 stops that service the entire city. More than 60% of the Emeryville office market is considered Class A office with the other 30% of office space classified as Class B/C creative, brick, and timber, converted warehouses and repurposed industrial buildings. Emeryville can offer tenants and buyers a variety of office atmospheres from small satellite offices to a large company headquarters.

Berkeley, CA

Berkeley is best known for its outstanding public University, UC Berkeley, but the city is also perfectly located along the Richmond BART line with three stations making it very accessible to commuters in the East Bay and Bay Area. Berkeley has just over 3,600,000 SF of office and flex space, most of which is Class B/C creative office. Just over 925,000 SF of office space in Berkeley is considered Class A and clustered mostly around Shattuck Ave near the Downtown Berkeley BART station. San Leandro, CA

San Leandro is a more affordable alternative to Oakland, while still being located along major public transit lines.
